About Us
History
The vision of the Alpha Omega Chi Christian Sorority Inc. was given by God to Cheryl DeVaughn on October 25, 2015. Upon receiving this vision Cheryl prayed for divine guidance and direction so that her vision could be birthed into existence. Lead by the Holy Spirit Cheryl approached Robin Ellington, Gayle Thomas, and Selena Mack (along with others) who are students and/or have graduates from Cincinnati Christian University and enlisted their prayers and support. At the time there were no other proclaimed Christian Sororities on campus or in the Midwest Region. In an effort to stand out and be set apart along with a sincere desire to instill in women a high level of dignity, integrity and respect Alpha Omega Chi Christian Sorority Inc. was born.
We are a Christian Sorority who has its foundation established and rooted in the word of God. Our goal is to represent Christ by being vessels of honor. We vow to uplift and edify others through prayer, mentorship, outreach, fellowship and ministry. It is our desire to apprise women of their self worth and to teach them to value every gift; talent and ability understanding that they can be utilize and expand to impact the kingdom of God in a positive manner.
The women of Alpha Omega Chi Christian Sorority Inc. have come together for one specific reason: to make our joy complete by being like minded, while being one in spirit and purpose, as it is asked of us in Philippians 2:21.
About Us
Our Colors
Colors: The colors of Alpha Omega Chi Christian Sorority Inc. are Royal Purple, Royal Blue and Gold.
Royal Purple represents royalty (Esther 8:15; Revelation 1:6), kingship (Mark 15:17; John 9:2), majesty, mediator, wealth (Judges 8:26; Revelation 18:16), authority (Ezekiel 27:7).
Royal Blue/Sapphire: Law/commandments (Numbers 15:38-41), heaven (Ezekiel 1:26), revealed God (Exodus 24:10), grace (Romans 6:14; Hebrew 4:16), the Priesthood (Exodus 28:31), water of the Word and authority (Ephesians 5:26), prayer, river of God (Revelation 22:1-2; 17), over-comer (1 John 4:4; Revelation 3:21), living water(John 7:38-39), Holy Spirit, divine revelation (Hebrews 10:15-16).
Gold: Eternal Deity, the Godhead, foundation, sanctified (2 Timothy 2:20:21), altar (Genesis 44:8; Exodus 37:2;6; 25:11;12), beauty (Esther 1:6;7), precious, holiness (Genesis 39:30), glory, purified out of the refining fire (Malachi 3:3; Zechariah 13:9), tested (1 Corinthians 3:11-14), majesty (Esther 8:15), righteousness (Psalm 119:127), divine light (1 John 1:7).
Emblems
The Sun (Son) represents the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The Cross and Crown represent the sacrifice of Jesus Christ dying for our sins and the resurrection of our souls.
Dove represents The Holy Spirit.
Lamp represents knowledge & wisdom for studying and knowing The Holy Bible.
Creed / Motto
Creed: Love, Friendship and Sisterhood.
Motto: “United in Christ, Bonded by Sisterhood.”
The Heart: The Bible mentions the human heart almost 300 times. In essence, this is what it says: the heart is that spiritual part of us where our emotions and desires dwell.
Jewel: The Diamond is a stone that is used to bring energies of longevity, balance, clarity, intensity, success, and abundance. The diamond is the hardest gemstone and one of the most valued. It represents self-worth and self-value.
Flower: Lily - Lilium (members of which are true lilies) is a genus of herbaceous flowering plants growing from bulbs, all with large prominent flowers. A lily is a sweet and a flagrant flower with a strong scent. Jesus has a sweetness in His ministry especially when He gave "himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savior" (Ephesians 5:2).

Alpha Omega Chi Christian Sorority, Inc. is a non-profit organization designed to build and enhance the social, educational and spiritual character of women, young and old. The purpose of Alpha Omega Chi Christian Sorority, Inc. is to bond Christian women of all races, creeds, tongues and denominations.
The purpose is to create a community of sisterhood on the common ground of Christianity. We are focused on promoting examples of Jesus Christ while living according to God’s Word. We shall witness, pray, and follow the path God has laid for us as a sorority. We are not a part of the Pan-Hellenic Council known as the "Divine Nine".... but we are "divinely" appointed by God to provide an organization for sisters to grow together in unity. There are no "secrets", "rituals", "hazing", or expensive fees.
Revelation 1:8 explains that Jesus is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. In addition, it speaks of the fact that Jesus was God in the flesh.
Alpha
In Acts 2:36 it states that God made Jesus, who was crucified, both Lord and Christ. This indicates that the Lord Jesus Christ represents the fullness of God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Chi is symbolic of Christ.
